If you look for a modest prom dress pattern in the Evening wear section of the pattern books, you might be a little disappointed. But look a little closer, and you'll find that there are options.

Here are some examples of modest prom dress patterns that have been in the pattern books over the last few years. Click on a pattern to see an enlargement.

Please note: Not all of these prom dress patterns are current, but you can almost always find a pattern on eBay if you search for it by company and number (eg Simplicity 7219). Also note that many commercial prom dress patterns may require slight modifications, especially raising the necklines.
